Diagnostic Evaluation
The comprehensive assessment is designed to identify autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) in individuals, employing the latest research-backed techniques and tools completed by a Clinical Psychologist. Functional Behavior Assessment
ABH utilizes a variety of assessment methods and tools depending on the level of need of each individual. With a comprehensive and accurate Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), our clinician develops a function-based behavioral intervention program as well as a developmentally appropriate treatment plan that is 100% tailored to each individual’s needs. This assessment provides a clear roadmap to guide families through the journey of receiving ABA services.
Home-Based ABA Treatment
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment is a process of systematically applying intervention based upon the principles of learning and motivation theory to improve socially significant behaviors in a 1:1 instructional setting in both home and community environments. With the result from the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), our clinicians develop programs which focus on increasing appropriate skills and decreasing challenging behavior with interventions that match the function of the targeted behavior. In addition, the clinical team will work with the families to identify both proactive and reactive strategies to promote desired behavior as well as to handle challenging behavior appropriately. With patience and consistency from the entire team, daily data collection by the direct therapist will allow the BCBA / clinical manager to monitor and guide the treatment program in the right direction for the best possible outcome.
Center-Based ABA Treatment
Center-based ABA treatment takes place at our well-designed center with socialization and individualized program implementation in mind. Center-based service provides a highly structured and control learning environment, at the same time allows for socialization to occur with peers during one to one sessions.
